View was excellent and the breakfast was OK. Would have been nice if the kitchen was willing to make lunch before noon. We were there for 1145 AM and they would not take our order until it was 12 noon on the spot.

It was lovely, clean and in a great spot. Varun let us leave our luggage for a few extra hours while our friends drove to pick us up! Very kind.

The location was perfect close to the harbour and a short walk from restaurants bars and shops.
Poised in the center of this medieval fishing port overlooking the marina and the colorful streets. Perryville House combines the grandeur of the past with the luxuries and convenience of today.

Kinsale is a cute little town. Beware. Not easy to drive in.
Kinsale is a cute little town. Beware. Not easy to drive in. Good place to spend a few days.We used it as a base for going to Mizen head, Baltimore and other places south of Cork.
Also note, and this is very common in Ireland, don't get up a the crack of dawn and expect to find a place open for breakfast. A few opened at 8 but more often opened at 9 and even 10. Earlier than 9 were few and far between. Those that are tend to be crowded for obvious reasons.

It was disastrous, my wife decided to go down the town for a walk around as she was walking she noticed foreigners watching her every move and they then started to pair up and follow her, she felt so threatened that she had to go into spar shop and wait for me to collect her. Would never visit there again.

Kinsale is a fantastic town for a weekend away.
Kinsale is a fantastic town for a weekend away. There are several excellent restaurants where you will have unforgettable experiences. The Black Pig and Finns Farmcut are amazing. Breakfast can be hit or miss, The Lemon Leaf and OHK were excellent. If the weather allows the walk out to Charles Fort is lovely, with a pint of Murphy’s at the Bulmans. The views at the Old Head of Kinsale are breathtaking, and Garretstown Beach is stunning. The tour and tasting at Kinsale Mead is fascinating and a unique highlight. Be careful choosing where to stay, as standards are not reflected by star ratings, and the centre can be noisy. Parking is challenging with two hour max at the central car park, better at SuperValu but you’ll need to move your car overnight.

A beautiful town with so much to explore locally and beyond.
A beautiful town with so much to explore locally and beyond. Great options for dining, plenty of really nice restaurants, cafes and bars to choose from. The scenery and views are spectacular. The people are really lovely.
Lovely breakfast - I loved the stewed fruit with youghurt; adds that bit of something over just a full Irish, served in a lovely room and the staff there were very friendly. Well spaced out in times of covid.
The soap dispensers are a great idea - love the sustainability.
Good coffee and tea facilities in the room. Bed was very comfortable, room not noisy. Great sleep over all. The bath robes (no slippers) were a lovely touch.
Location is superb. The hotel itself looks lovely.
first- The young man that checked us in was very professional, polite and helpful. We booked several rooms for a family trip and all were comfortable, and very clean. An old gworgian design the hotel had real charm and is located in a great place to visit Kinsale. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and again, the entire staff (a fmily affair) were perfect hosts. We wish we would have scheduled more time in Kinsale.
The B&B is tiny but beautifully decorated. The location in the middle of Kinsale is excellent.
The room and bathroom were small but very clean and they have anything that you might need.
The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had plenty of hot water.
The staff/owner was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was plenty and very tasty. We were able to find street parking (free) in the back of the hotel.
Peter and Rasa were excellent hosts - attentive, helpful. The location was terrific. The facilities were great with the best shower I’ve had in a hotel. The bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable and breakfast was very nice. Try the poached eggs! Staff was very good. We will definitely return and I recommend Long Quay House to anyone planning a trip to Kinsale.
We had an excellent stay at Blind Gate House! Lily and the rest of the staff are very friendly and accommodating for their guests. Our room was quite comfortable with plenty of space. Breakfast was delicious, especially the smoked salmon.
We were only able to spend one night in Kinsale during our trip, but we’d stay at Blind Gate House again in a heartbeat!
Our hosts were amazing. My daughter broke her foot two days before our flight to Ireland. They helped us source a wheel chair which made Blarney Castle and dinner in Kinsale enjoyable. We are soooo grateful for their kindness, help, and hospitality. It is a clean, new townhome with very comfortable bedrooms and a kitchen.
The hotel is nice, the room was spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower. I really appreciated that. The breakfast was ok. We didn't try the pool and beauty services, as we just spent the night near Kinsale and then drove on, so I can't rate them.
The location was amazing! we stayed here during our honeymoon in Ireland! Centrally located in town and in walking distance to everything. The cafe that is located on the bottom floor is a must visit!! We had an amazing brunch there, the best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had!
A nice quiet , clean , friendly boutique hotel in the heart of Kinsale ! The room was comfortable and well appointed , with tea and coffee in a common room just down the hall . Very helpful and approachable owner !
In the end we stayed at the Blue Haven Hotel (a sister-hotel) due to maintenance at the Old Bank Town House where the hotel staff was very friendly and nice. They made sure we had a great time there as well.
*Centrally located, yet quiet, spacious bedroom, great bathroom; modern, clean
*fabulous host(ess)—helpful, knowledgeable, great sense of humor, paid attention to details;
One of the BEST places to stay!
The owner and staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and bright. I liked the character of this older hotel, and the fact that it still had all the modern amenities.
The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. One of the best showers I’ve taken in Ireland was at the Trident Hotel! Great water pressure.
